Rizzuto’s Oyster Bar & Restaurant opened in 2009 in a location that for decades was a cornerstone of Westport. After a long and successful hotel management career spanning from New York to Las Vegas, Walt Disney World to San Francisco, Bill returned home to Connecticut, and enjoys his role as a hands-on restauranteur. After his family, Bill’s passions are food and people, and of course, salt-water fishing.

Bill’s objective was to create a comfortable, inviting place to eat and drink, featuring a daily selection of freshest fish and seafood and simple Italian American fare. Rizzuto’s menu highlights pristine fish brought in daily, our signature crab cakes, Westport’s best lobster roll, and the best meatballs ever. There is also a commitment to responsible dining, offering many options to fit growing dietary choices.

What really sets Rizzuto’s apart, however, is our incredible staff, frequently complimented for their friendly and accommodating approach to creating warm experiences for our guests.
